Wooden LEGO (Peace) pistol, ca. 1945, number 325, (ammunition number 326)

Self-leaded pistol. The wooden version is dated ca.1945. It comes with loose package with amunition. 

An unusual object for LEGO. the only war-toy LEGO ever made. A wooden model from 1945 was made to celebrate the end of World War 2.  It had a mechanism wich made it possible to reload the rifle fast. 

This was the first toy patented by Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, the son of the inventor of LEGO toys.
